UNI_VCIP is obtained through a complete esterification reaction of hetero-hydroxy palmitic acid with vitamin C. 

It is one of the few oil-soluble components among vitamin C derivatives. 

It is more stable than vitamin C and penetrate sebum to enter the epidermis and dermis layers more effectively. 

It can be quickly absorbed by skin and then converted into vitamin C to exert whitening effects. 

It can be also used in after-sun care, 

as it can effectively inhibit the increase of intracellular reactive oxygen species after UVB irradiation and enhance the cell tolerance.

UNI_VCIP is an oil-soluble vitamin C derivative. The recommended dosage is 1-5%. It can be combined with other ingredients, such as vitamin E, ferulic acid, and licorice extract, to achieve a better whitening and brightening effect.
