Lysozyme is an excellent natural antimicrobial agent that cause the breakdown of the β-glycosidic bonds 

between N-acetyl muramic acid and N-acetylglucosamine in the peptidoglycan of the cell wall and then kill them. 

However, the commonly used egg white lysozyme is only effective against some Gram-positive bacteria, 

and is ineffective against Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. And it is not usable by people who follow a vegetarian diet.

 

UNIBIO_LYSOZYME is produced through biological fermentation technology and has been further modified through protein engineering. 

This modification enhances the binding ability of the lysozyme to peptidoglycan by optimizing the binding site, 

resulting in a broader spectrum of antimicrobial effects as follows,

The stability of UNIBIO_LYSOZYME is excellent. After being subjected to high and low temperature cycles ranging from 2 to 54℃ for 30 days, 

it can still maintain approximately 97% or more of its enzymatic activity. At the same time, this product remains stable within the pH range of 4 to 8.

 

UNIBIO_LYSOZYME can be used in oral care, feminine care, hair care, acne-prone skin care, pet care and cosmetics to assist in the antimicrobial effect 

and maintain the stability of the formula.
